PUPPY COURSES / OBEDIENCE CLASSES

The club offers obedience training which sees dogs working towards each stage of the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme in the following classes:

• Puppy Foundation
• Bronze Certificate
• Silver Certificate
• Gold Certificate

Classes are fun and friendly and see dogs working from the very basics of obedience training, all the way up to much more advanced obedience at gold standard. These classes are held in the Barnard Castle Rugby Club hall on birch road. Puppy classes are Monday evenings at 18:30.

Bronze classes are held Monday evenings from 19:30. We can also look to work towards silver and gold awards. We are currently unable to offer obedience training on nights other that Monday.

Classes are open to both members and non-members alike.

The puppy foundation course runs on a set rotation. This is a six week course and so we have courses starting at various points through the year. 

The puppy foundation course is charged at £48 for the full course and this is paid up front on the first night.

All other training classes are currently charged at £8 per night on a pay-as-you-go basis (£7 for club members).
